What level is recommended for each early stage?
Current in-game signs show Stage 2 at Recommended Level 5 and Stage 3 at Level 10. Stage 1 displays Level 0. These are planning benchmarks, not exact minimum reach values.

Recommended level versus exact requirement
A sign tells you what the game recommends. It does not prove that a lower value cannot work, because alignment, landing choice, abilities and current equipment can affect the attempt.
An exact threshold needs two controlled results from the same start: the largest visible value that still falls short and the smallest visible value that succeeds.
Measure a threshold as a range
EDITORIAL ADVICE- Choose one start platform and one landing target.
- Record the largest visible value that fails because the tongue is short.
- Increase the value without changing route, equipment or approach.
- Record the smallest visible value that succeeds.
- Publish the result as greater than the failed value and no more than the successful value.
What invalidates a comparison?
- Starting from a different position or aiming at another part of the platform.
- Changing a Tongue, Trail, trainer, boost or rebirth state between attempts.
- Using values from different servers or game versions without labeling them.
- Calling an alignment miss a reach failure.
Use your measured rate
Once you have a target and a stable gain rate, use the growth calculator to estimate the wait. Check the Tongue upgrade table before changing equipment, then remeasure after any change.
Stretch requirements FAQ
Is Level 5 required for Stage 2?
The sign recommends Level 5. This capture does not prove that Level 5 is the minimum possible value.
Is Level 10 required for Stage 3?
The Stage 3 sign recommends Level 10. A lower-level success and nearby failure would be needed to establish a tighter threshold.
