The game has challenging stages, but no official stage count, stage names, order, or checkpoint map has been verified. This first edition gives you a reliable way to approach each new crossing without filling the route with invented details.
What the developer confirms
The official game description says players extend their tongue to reach new platforms, slide across it through an obstacle course, and race through challenging stages. It also warns that a fall or mistake can send you back.
The checked source does not identify individual stages or say that every platform is a checkpoint. Treat an in-game label or reset point as confirmed only when you can see it in the current game.
What players consistently report
COMMUNITY REPORTEDTwo independent guide sources describe the same practical loop: standing on a trainer increases tongue length, at least one free or default trainer is available, Extend and Slide are separate actions, and completing a stage increases Wins while trainer time alone does not.
These reports match the official product names and high-level game description, but they are not a developer-published mechanics table. This wiki treats them as community-reported until a readable HUD capture shows the trainer state, stage completion, and Wins counter.
A repeatable route method
EDITORIAL ADVICE- Stop on a safe platform. Read any visible stage label, progress marker, and stretch value before moving.
- Choose the landing first. Pick one platform and align with its safest visible area.
- Check the tongue endpoint. Separate a tongue that falls short from a tongue that reaches but is poorly aligned.
- Repeat the same approach. Keep the start position and landing target fixed while you test reach or timing.
- Record the result. Note whether you landed, fell, reached a checkpoint, or returned to an earlier platform.
What to record for each stage
- Stage identity
- The exact in-game label, if one is visible.
- Starting point
- The platform or checkpoint used for the attempt.
- Visible stretch
- The displayed value immediately before the crossing.
- Landing target
- The platform used, including left, center, or right route.
- Outcome
- Success, short reach, missed landing, or reset.
- Evidence
- A readable screenshot or short clip with its check date.
When a stage entry becomes publishable
A future route entry needs readable evidence that belongs to +1 Tongue Escape by dot x ast. The stage label and requirement can come from one frame, or from two adjacent frames when one shows the label and the other shows the crossing result.
If a number is partly hidden, a platform is ambiguous, or a boost changed during the attempt, the result stays unverified. A player estimate can still be useful, but it will be labeled as an estimate rather than an official requirement.
Plan the next crossing
Use the stretch requirements guide to measure a reach threshold. If growth rate is the problem, read progression and upgrades. New players can start with the beginner guide.
Stages FAQ
How many stages are in +1 Tongue Escape?
No verified stage count is available in the checked official source. We will add a count after the full route can be observed and checked.
Does every platform save progress?
That has not been verified. Watch the current in-game checkpoint feedback and record where a failed attempt returns you.
Is the longest route always the correct route?
No official route rule has been verified. Choose a repeatable landing and compare alternatives with visible evidence.
